About me
John is a seasoned UX researcher with a Machine Learning PhD.
He recently led the Consensys Platform Team's user research, which produced the open source AskO11y 'AI-powered observability assistant' Grafana plug-in.
He is a software engineer turned UXer who specialises in product discovery and UX measurement. He excels in both qualitative and quantitative user research as well as team coaching, requirements elicitation and the integration of UX research into software production.
John has a machine learning PhD and computer communications MSc and BEng from the University of Essex. He is also a Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance CSM) and holds a UX Master Certificate (in UX Research, Interaction Design, and Web Design) from Nielsen Norman Group.
